Jose has more than 20 years of consulting experience. He has worked with clients in financial services, manufacturing, consumer products, retail, life sciences, and technology. Previously, Jose held various roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of Program Management, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure Engineering & Operations, Application Development, Portfolio Management, and Process Reengineering while working for Fortune 500 companies.
Edgar Fernandez
Vice Chairman, Growth Executive
Edgar Fernandez is the Vice Chairman of Great Western Technologies, LLC (GWT). He is an experienced IT professional who also specializes in deal flow generation, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, valuating, structuring, and creative financing. He has assembled a prospective board of directors with over 100 years of combined experience in M&A, and participated in more transactions than we could account for, conservatively worth over $800M.
Edgar has extensive IT experience with a degree, 23 technical certifications, 5 years of IT experience including, help desk analyst, cyber security analyst, network engineer, and SD-WAN (Software Defined – Wide Area Network) engineer.
In parallel to that, he has 3 years of digital marketing experience with a focus on Facebook advertising, copywriting, and email marketing.
Over the past two years, he has focused on M&A and acquired 8 digital traffic assets leveraging his over 200 methods of getting an acquisition to pay for itself (financial engineering).

Ed is a high-impact executive who advances technology innovation to accelerate profitability for diverse companies worldwide as both an independent consultant and in-house business development leader. A savvy dealmaker, Ed closed eight early-stage technology acquisitions worth $31M+ across his career. He also revitalized six established enterprises through aggressive action to improve customer service and establish partnerships to fill capability gaps.
Ed brings experience in the technology, financial, utility, telecommunications and private equity/venture capital sectors. Through work assignments spanning six continents and 31 countries, he became an agile leader with a knack for bridging cultural gaps to establish business relationships and secure funding for complex deals. What’s more, Ed is an accomplished team builder. He recruits and leads diverse, mission-driven teams that blend technical capabilities with soft skills to achieve success in complex, ambiguous business environments.
Andrew Longcore
Member of the Board, Internal Counsel
Andrew holds a J.D. Business Law degree from Western Michigan University Law School.
Andrew has worked with hundreds of businesses and entrepreneurs on their corporate development strategy and implementation. His experience ranges from working with solopreneurs to publicly traded companies in many industries, including technology, manufacturing, business services, hospitality, media, and retail.
In his previous roles, Andrew has assisted with growth strategy, deal sourcing, deal structuring and negotiations, sourcing funds, transaction management, and post-closing integration. He has worked on strategic partnerships, acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, management buyouts, real estate development projects, executive recruitment, and joint ventures.
David Baker
Member of the Board, Operations Executive
Mr. Baker retired in late 2020 after two years as the Senior Vice President of Operations (engineering design, installation/construction, and field service) at Sunrun, Inc., the largest residential solar installer in the U.S., where he implemented process changes that substantially improved productivity, reduced sales-to-installation cycle time by 50%, and cut technician attrition in half.
Before that, he spent more than eight years as Senior Vice President of Field Services for DIRECTV/AT&T. In that role, he oversaw DIRECTV’s national network of in-home and commercial installation and service providers for DIRECTV, where he made major improvements in safety, operations, and customer experience. Previously, Baker served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for On Command Corporation and as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for DIRECTV Japan.
Mr. Baker holds a Ph.D. in Mineral Economics with a specialization in operations research from the Colorado School of Mines, as well as Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee. He serves as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society.
Allen McCoy
IT Due Diligence, Integration, Automation, and Management Team
NeedPipe's focus is implementing customer lifecycle management including BI Analytics, ITSM, DCIM, and HR Tools, IT Managed Services, and Managed Cybersecurity Services. His team will drive cloud migrations and business transformation on our acquisitions, while helping the board automate all operations as quickly as possible.
